Gelastomerics is an early-stage, SBIR-funded startup, founded to address the critical absence of intrinsically lubricious, elastomeric materials in the current medical plastics market; Our mission is to deliver the first such material to market, addressing acute design and manufacturing barriers limiting advances in next-generation anatomical models, cardio-and neurovascular catheter systems, long-term implant technologies, and tissue-contacting healthcare consumables. We are currently partnering with leading medical device manufacturers to overcome a range of current materials limitations and bring new technologies to life.
