Gelastomerics Awarded Over $300K as Part of NSF SBIR Phase I Grant Program

Gelastomerics wins a 2025-2026 Small Business Innovation and Research Grant from the Biomedical Technologies Program of the National Science Foundation! With this award the team is working to validate it’s latest Gelastomer formulations against ISO-10993 biocompatibility standards, establish compatibility with standard sterilization protocols, and expand the durometer ranges available. Gelastomerics accepted into Innosphere Ventures’ 2024 Life Sciences Incubator

Gelastomerics was accepted as one of thirty four life sciences startups, from across the nation, into the 2024 Life Sciences Incubator Program of Innosphere Ventures. This nine-month program focused on solidifying Gelastomerics’ business framework and developing a commercialization strategy for the company’s unique medical materials.

Gelastomerics Participates in NSF’s National I-Corps Teams Program

The Gelastomerics team was invited to participate in the 2024 winter cohort of the National Science Foundation’s National I-Corps Teams Program, focused on intensive customer discovery, target market, and partner identification. Check out the Colorado State University article on our experiences.
